Is Bofrid free to use?
Bofrid is completely free for landlords. You can list your property, receive applications, and communicate with tenants without any fees. Tenants can create a profile, build their housing CV, and search for apartments for free. You pay a service fee of 3.95% of the monthly rent when you get a home.
How does BankID verification work?
When you register on Bofrid, you log in via BankID. This automatically verifies your identity, making the platform safer for all users.
What is a housing CV?
A housing CV is your digital profile that shows you're a reliable tenant. It includes employment verification, criminal record, credit report, previous landlord references, and other documents. The more complete your CV, the higher housing merit you receive.
How do I list my apartment for free?
Click 'Create listing', log in with BankID, and follow the steps. Describe your property, upload photos, set rent and availability. Your listing is published immediately and reaches thousands of housing seekers.
Can I sublet through Bofrid?
Yes, Bofrid supports all types of rentals including subletting. However, you must have permission from your landlord or housing association to sublet according to Swedish law.
How does Bofrid protect against scam listings?
All users are verified with BankID, eliminating anonymous scam listings. We also review listings to ensure quality and authenticity. If something seems suspicious, you can report it to our support.
